Children of the Corn hits Shudder this weekend

Well, for better or worse (and by all indications, worse), the silver screen was donned with a new Children of the Corn earlier this year. After a short theatrical release, it found its way to VOD, and now it's coming to streaming this Friday thanks to Shudder.

"Children of the Corn" is a horror movie about a 12-year-old girl named Eden who is possessed by a spirit in a dying Nebraska cornfield. She recruits the other children in her small town to go on a bloody rampage and kill all the adults and anyone else who opposes her. The town’s only hope of survival is a bright high schooler who won’t go along with the plan. The movie is directed by Kurt Wimmer and based on Stephen King’s famed short story.
